Our application extends basic URI checking functionality by incorporating features that will allow you to check the URI's IP address and name servers against DNS based blacklists. In addition, we have added a unique feature that allows you to check the URI's IP address and remote mail server against Senderbase, the world's leading email traffic monitoring network.

Today spammers are creating large networks of computers with the sole purpose of distributing SPAM by hijacking virus and trojan infected computers. July 10th, 2006 - Move Files 1.0 Now Released

Invariant Systems has released another useful free utility for IPSwitch Imail Users. Move Files is a utility that will move a number of Imail messages (Q*,D*) messages from a source directory to a destination directory on a timed basis.

When you have a backup of your spool or Declude proc directory the first thing you do is move all of the messages out of those locations to restore normal mail flow. Previously you would hand move the messages back into the spool or Declude proc preventing another backup. Move Files helps by automating this task by moving a defined number of messages on a timed basis from a source folder to a destination folder.

We are please to announce that invURIBL is now supported in mxGuard.

mxGuard is an add-on utility designed specifically for Imail, a Microsoft Windows based e-mail server published by Ipswitch. The purpose of this add-on is to intercept each message passing through the mail server. It then runs a range of tests to determine if the message contains a virus, worm or exploit . If a virus is detected, the message is safely quarantined. If no virus is detected, the message is analyzed real-time to determine if it is unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE), commonly referred to as junk mail or spam.

invURIBL is a tool that can be used to block or tag spam based on URIs (domain names) that are used in messages. Spammers are constanstly adapting to new techniques to circumvent conventional RBL's. QueueMon is windows based service that provides monitoring and alerting for your Imail and/or the Declude overflow queue. QueueMon is capable of customizable scripting and alerting actions based on user defined limits for queue size and growth.

As with most mail administrators we have experienced problems where our mail servers queue has backed up. Often these problems go undetected until one of our end users or customers notifies us that they are not receiving mail in a timely fashion.
